PBIS at Sem Yeto/Satellite

J.P. presented PBIS at Sem Yeto/Satellite staff meeting on January 5th.  At the department meetings, teachers collaborated and developed common classroom expectations and procedures for their classes. These expectations will be posted in classroom by February 5th.

Take away from meeting:
J.P. asked the staff to think about when a student miss behaves "is the action or behavior performance or skilled based?" He explained we assume that students chose to perform or act poorly when in fact often times they haven't acquired the necessary skills.

Update: On February 18th J.P. came and walked the Sem Yeto/Satellite campus and completed his SET walk through.  J.P. stated that he was impressed with the amount of progress made in the short amount of time with new members added to the team this school year.
