Anna Kyle completed the identification of students living with someone other than a parent, flagged these students in Aeries, and contacted each family individually via phone call. For those families with non-working phone numbers, we sent a personal note home through the mail. We made 10 first attempt contacts, we left 5 voicemails with 4 return calls that I personally took and spoke with the adults, and I sent 2 personal notes to families when the phone number did not work.These tasks were completed on February 2, 2016. A few highlights of our conversations:

- “Mrs. V is fantastic and we see HUGE improvements with _________! We can’t say enough about her as a teacher.”
- “Everything is good right now. Thank you for the call. It is nice to know about the washer/dryer and I actually might take advantage of it.”
